Loop Cut doesn't cut through object tunnels

I am trying to make a cut through this object but after I did the cut I noticed that I could separate anything else but the 3 tunnels of the object. Any idea why?

If your cut is planar you can use bisect instead

Hi, Loop cut only cuts round the edges you need to add more cuts inside the cylinder.
