Looking great! I’m a fan of this style.
If you don’t mind using an experimental version, I recommend using geometry nodes for the array along curve.
You can simply take the curve, resample to the points you need, instance the array object on the points, and align them to the curve normal and tangent.

And I noticed some artifacts in blender’s image viewer, it looks strange, here is it (on the left) compared to the external image viewer on the right

Switched to the blender 3 and
I noticed some artifacts if rendering on GPU with tiles option enabled, strange horizontal bars on the render tile boundaries.
Appearing only if sun is present in the scene…
Looks so good. How many hours did it take?
It’s hard to say as I redo many things in order to optimize the scene, I think 20-30 hrs in total, I 1-3 hours a day
Quick test with textures from polyheaven, I see repeating pattern but looks nice
UV toolkit’s quad unwrap works pretty good for the curved road
I think I need to bake my own textures from the cobblestones meshes
And finally short animation in eevee
