I wanted to show what a more elaborated jewelry design project looks like. This design was created for the high-end market.
Sculpting done with BLENDER, rendered with CYCLES. Jewelry designed with 3DESIGN V9.
These kind of projects also help people understand why jewellery is an art in itself and requires very specialized training and tools. For instance, beyond the fancy design, this 3D model is real scale for 3D printing and proper manufacture of the real jewel, and the manufacturing is already planned during the 3d modeling steps. Manufacturing this ring is way harder than just a one button 3D print, I would say obviously, but for too many people it seems like it is simple, because it looks simple. Anyway, hope you all like what you see.
