Mac Pro 2019 benchmarks - a new Blender scene call

The barefeats.com guy (madscientist) has almost raised funds (public donations) for a Mac Pro 2019 (more or less 80% at the moment):

He’s often used Blender for benchmarking but I think this time he would need a brand new scene created in Radeon Pro Render to test the beast. In fact it would be good for Blender community to have a reliable RPR benchmark scene as well.
Maybe there is someone experienced in RPR, who has created such a scene and would like to share it and perhaps send to madscientist with Blender benchmarks request? Please notice he has no clue about Blender. It should be one click solution.

Most of the blender “demo files” should just load and work in RPR.

I agree it ‘should’ and it would be great. Unfortunately it does not work:

… and overall lets face it: Pro Render for Blender looks good on the paper only. It seems to be far from usable version, to say the least.

That Barefeats dude is going to get a shock. $8000 isn’t going to get him that spec of Mac Pro.

Intel’s current price for the 12 core Xeon W $1400, Vega GPU will be minimum $1000, SSD upgrade $400. I haven’t even included memory.

$6000+$1400+$1000+$400= Min $8800.

Wow! $8800 for a 12 core and Vega GPU!

Anyway yFile, you’re keen for others to get Metal Cycles into Blender but a benchmark scene is something a member of the community could easily contribute. You should easily be able to convert the current benchmark scenes over to RPR it’s a simple task. It shouldn’t take long at all.

Unfortunately BMW is the only one that ‘works’:
