I am trying to learn Blender on a Macbook Pro to build some simple models to include in my commercial illustrations. I am having a hard time figuring out how to save a JPG or a TIFF of a simple rendered model. I am using a single click mouse and none of the F Keys are working. I have tried every tip I have found on the internet without success. Please help. Thank you. Cooper9
In the render settings you can set what the output file format you want
Render the image then press F3 (depending on your OSX preferences this may be the Fn+F3 keys) or use the Image / Save as Image menu in the render window.
Hi Richard, Thank you for your help. I have a regular sized keyboard connected to my laptop that doesn’t have an Fn key. Although I tried pressing F3 and the Fn+F3 combination on the laptop keyboard and all that it did was change the sound level so that does not work for me. I am unable to locate this suggestion:
“Image / Save as Image menu in the render window.”
I must be missing something here. thank you, frustrated
