You should use the smooth button in the edit tab, it might do something neat, but I’m a noob, too. Good job!
looking good so far, you need to add some textures, ect. to complete the look, but considering this is a wip i’m sure your going to get to it. keep up the good work.
ps. try a black or white background, it tends to make the object stand out more
pss. if this is just for still shots don’t worry about using more vertices
