anyone happen to know how i would model a mage in a robe only way i can think of making him is the one in diablo 2 for those of yo who have played or seen it and the guy is satanding at the door when its loading? i want that type of guy
well, with a robe you don’t need to bother with whole body of the mage, you just need a head and hands, propably feet. That makes your job a lot easier.
Then with the robe itself, you could do the dress part with simple circle and just extrude it. Then you just move the verts to make folds and stuff on the dress. You could use same technique to the sleeves also.
AS for chest and back just exture faces and try to shape them as torso, but not too closely tough, if you do not want to do some Marvel superhero.
