OK, I find some(If not all) active tools difficult to use. Is there some secret to using them? You would think they would work just like the operators ,but they don’t seem to. One example is the bevel tool. If you run the operator, you can use middle mouse for segments and then confirm with enter or pressing left mouse again. The problem I see with the active tool, as soon as you release the left mouse button to switch to middle mouse you just confirmed it and you can’t change any other settings.

OK, seems to be a keymap issue. Not sure why “Confirm on Release” is enabled by default.
