Render of Skull Kid from the Legend of Zelda Majora’s Mask. Rendered in cycles
I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
Thank you! Have a good one!
You’re on the featured row! ![]()
Very nice! I’ve done one as well, I just haven’t shared a render of it… not encouraged to do so.
To be or not to be…that’s what this pose has always made me think of. Great job on the classic misunderstood villain!
Why are you not encouraged to do so?
Thank you! His design is so iconic!
I guess that was a bad way of explaining it… I just wanted to get a watermark on my render as well. Except I don’t have a personal watermark ![]()
Edit: Once again though, dazzling render you’ve got there!
Thank you. And i see what you mean. Although once i came up with my online name, coming up with a watermark became easier.
I haven’t put that many hours on mine, but I made Tael and the moon, plus the clock tower. All quite basic. Most of my time went to get Skull Kid himself right.
My username probably tells what character I can relate to a lot from that game. Still got my old N64 at home, and Majora’s Mask being the top two on my own personal Best-Game’s-I’ve-Ever-Played list. Ocarina of Time being #1
both games still works fine on my N64.
Takes me back! This is amazing, would you mind giving insight to how you got the hatched / cross hatched look?
Thanks! The shaders are fairly simple. Just bump. I used a stretched noise texture to get a procedural bump and freestyle helps boost the effect. Again, fairly simple. The lighting carries the render. I can share the nodes and settings once im back on my computer
