I’m (very) new to Blender. I’ve been trying to figure out how to install add-ons in Makehuman and Blender for 3 days now - MH needs an add-on to be able to export in mhx2 format for Blender, and Blender needs an add-on to be able to import that format.
I was able to add the export add-on to MH no problem, but Blender is giving me trouble - using the preferences menu under edit, I installed the plug in. It shows up in the add-on menu, and its box is checked. But when I go to the import menu, mhx2 is not listed as an option. The add-on isn’t in the finder folder w/in Blender, but it’s still showing up in the preferences window.
I’d love any advice on how to install the add-on properly, or how to deinstall it and try again. For context, I’m working off a Mac.
