Making and selling a commercial game in UPBGE 3.6.1

Hello world!
I’m NEITekniks, new here. I have been using UPBGE for quite a while now, and am currently using 3.6.1 (Stable) build from upbge.org.
I wanted to know if we can sell a packaged game from UPBGE, as the last time I checked, (2019) there was something with GPL license stopping this from happening.
But seeing examples like ‘The Future Ends’ and ‘Tomato Jones’, I wanted to know how it’s done in UPBGE 3.

Just asking though, if I load my blend file using the logic bricks, I would still need a .exe, right?
Example-
Root
|-game.blend
|-game.exe
|-the necessary folders and other files

So I have to package this whole thing, and its ready for commercial distribution?
Also, is there a way to encrypt the .blend in question?
