Making catapult bendable

Hello again! I have animated the spoon to throw away the egg and now I wanna set one more bone for the head too. But I have thought about how to parent with the marked with red. I want to bend it when the spoon land on it when it throws away the egg. How do I bend if not moving the other objects around? I want to parent but the other object should not response from the bone? I am using blender 2.5

hello again! I stepped into this problem after connecting with the bone, some of the objects dont follow with the bone instead they are stuck.
How do I paint away the areas that they reflect with the bone?

Oh nevermind, I manage to fix the problem by adding bones and paint weight them later. I am not used to animation so I only know the basic from Maya. But it is done anyway
