hi, am new to blender . recently working on a architectural project in blender 2.63. priviously used 3ds max. My blend file is becoming too heavy. is there any way to reduce file size and prevent that not responding pop up…

help me out.:eek:

Too little information to give any specific answer since you’re the only person here who knows anything about your scene.
You can link objects from one blend file into your current blend file http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:2.6/Manual/Data_System/Linked_Libraries

exactly what it says. blender is trying to pack that image into the blender file so it doesnt loose it. Only the file is NOT where you’ve told it the image should be.
