According to their BlenderArtists profile and their website, dtcartamania lives in Japan. So that might have something to do with it. 
(Incidentally, the Japanese was a pleasant surprise for me. One of my hobbies is learning Japanese, and it’s always fun when two of my interests collide unexpectedly.)

Love this! great work, was the clothing created in blender? would love to get any tips you have for clothing creation, as just starting out trying my hand at creating cloth in blender and I am struggling to make even a t-shirt haha
