Manta Ray Spaceships (Blender+Gimp)

Here’s a Blender+Gimp image of my latest model, an alien-looking space fighter. The spaceships have bump, specular and color maps, the rest of the scene is pretty much just made up to show off the spaceships.

The spaceships somewhat resembles the Eldar race in Warhammer 40K, no, I don’t play it (or own any models) but I have spent a decent amount of time staring at the plastic models. (They look so epic, :D) However the spaceships aren’t designed after any particular ship. I think they look like manta rays.

I like it very much. The only think that’s not 100% are the details on the ships - sculpted I take it? They look a little rough.

They’re actually bump-mapped, I probably should have used a higher-res texture.
