Hi guys.
Was wondering if it’s possible to mask a texture in blender.
let’s say I have a sphere with UVs done.
Then I apply a voronoi texture, or noise texture. But I would like to mask out some areas with an actual texture done in photoshop.
Is that possible ?
- You can assign different textures to different parts of your geometry
- You can paint a black-and-white texture on the model and use that as a mask with a simple node setup:
Oh right right ok, I’ll try this right away !
hopefully works !
thanks a lot
