Matching Stereoscopic Insta Pro 2 footage

Hi everybody,

i need to composite 2D animation sequences over Insta Pro 2 footage

the footage is 8k (7680x7680) top-down stereo 360 equirectangular

i’m quite confused about the Camera Settings:

Panoramic and Equirectangular no doubts, but i have no idea about Stereoscopic Mode, Convergence Plane Distance, Spherical Stereo Switch

I couldn’t find the parameters for Insta Pro 2 online nor in the manual

Basically when i compose the animation over the footage it looks like the animation plate is too far off, and there’s no noticeable change in the perceived depth of the plate, however the plate distance from the camera is animated

anybody got hints please?

Not yet perfect, but it seems using the “Parallel” option delivers the best results.

Obviously it’s very important to match the depth of the elements in the scene.
