Material/object appears transparent in render

My mesh is not visible in render (cycles), ony the particle system is rendered. I already made renders with this material node setup so that should be not the issue (I also tried deleting everything and keeping only principled BSFD with surface color). Everything looks OK in the render preview. The object is not hidden for render. There is no accidentaly assignd material override.

Plus I’m pretty curious why the particle hair on the tail looks like an old brush but only in the render. Thanks!


SOLVED: under Object panel → instancing, I had to check Render! Didn’t know about this.
