Looks to me like a first rate job on the aluminium finish . The render would pass for a photo in my book.
You should show it on Military Meshes Aviation section.

Damn this looks good! Any info about the material? Did you use Substance Painter or similar software? Did you model the rivets in Blender (and baked normal map) or made them in Photoshop?

Thanks folks. I was going to post on Military-Meshes but their site was having issues today. I will try to post the node setup. It was all Cycles. Rivets are bump maps made in Inkscape.

As requested…the Node Tree.

Thank you for the node tree! Any change to get it more higher resolution (or in two parts) as it’s now a bit and hard to read (even in 1920p, the full version). This is indeed very interesting. Always awesome to learn from the best!

Brilliant work as ever sir!

Cheers, Clock.

PS. I will ge ack to my Canberra soon, I have been distracted by my Toy Steam Engine and Clockophone (both here in the WIP) just lately. These projects started off simple and then I get carried away…

HA ha Clock…I know the feeling (“These projects started off simple…”). Thanks for the compliment. When you get back to your Canberra, here is a link you might enjoy and use to model the cockpit…

Great work! I agree with Neil92: it looks like a photo! Congratulations!

Here are photos of a XF-85 Goblin I took on 2019-11-25 at the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace museum in Ashland, Nebraska, USA. The model from Blender and its aluminum finish look very similar to these photos.
