I’m looking at blender to help me build some water tight parts to fit existing parts.
My work flow is to scan the part to be fitted then I bring that into Blender and I’m looking to build off of that but I want to make sure I’m maintaining actual size. I will then export to another program to generate the G code and print the objects. Make sense>>>
My main question is how do you control the size of an object and can is it relative to inches or MM???
You may have to employ a multiplier when exporting though.
Default for metric is metres; if you want the numbers in mm, set the units to metric and the scale to 0.01
