I would be interested in doing some textures. I have been on Blender for about two years and I would be excited to join this project. (my first group project).

@MrStugelmayer to pack them you need to go into shading/ textures and when you load the image on the right it should have a picture of a box with a line on it click that and your done, and it has it in the UV editor :smiley:

I would do both.

I have alot of blendering to do today. I have to make a snowman for another project, but once I am done with that I will fix the legs for you.

There are all fine but the plate is like 60% transparent and their are no bump maps on any of them?

Also i need 2 more colours for the shipping containers

The plate still hase nodes, and 2nd material attached to it then, sorry. I will fix that.

I will have to look into the bumpmap thing then, because the textures have a bump map filters on them. If I increese them any more it looks funny. But I might need to bumpmap the rivets sepret. I will mess around will it and post something when I have it better

The shipping container I will try and give it more depth. Sounds good about the 2 more colors, I will do that also.

Also i forgot to say about the shipping containers make the rods cylinders at the front just a cube which has the rotated 45 degrease.

I will add the rodes to my long list of stuff I have to do in blender already. lol I’m trying to get stuff done today, but its like by the time I get working, someone asks me to do just one more thing. lol as of this point I don’t see an end to my list. :slight_smile: i’m having fun doing it so it is ok.

Ok yea I think I will like that software better. Right now I am trying to lrean a veary complex program to add all diffrent effects like bump maps, but I will use that one for now to get these done.

Tomz i will have ago at texturing some maps but i cant promise anything.
Also don’t wary there is plenty more things to add to that list, but when we get a couple more textures you will be fine.

Soon as we get pair of legs done, map, cockpit, generator, weapon all fully textured i think we should then start on animation,controls and some coding. Then while we are doing more models and textures, we need some guys to make the menus and icons. Then when the menus are done we can start the coding for everything. Then some more parts will be done and some maps so we can add them get some coded in. Then we can set up some online for testing (just to make shore it can be done) Then if that’s ok finish it all of post a closed beta between us, then we can set up the website, and if that’s all good open BETA! Then we can go for it!

But saying that that is ALONG! time away. :frowning:

only been 10 days lol and we have done so much but thinking about it its not even a bite out of what is rest to be done!

If anyone know of a good free game engine with real time shadows and all the other good stuff lol than we will be good but if not then BGE will have to do! btf its not that bad just needs a few coding to get it running better with stuff and that’s it. Well saying that what do i know about coding. not a lot lol

Cool Cool, yea its funny because I started blending with another 3 teams and they all are using 2.49b. LOL so yea now i’m using both.

Is there anything I can do for the game at the moment? I don’t have a lot of time but I could probably do some stuff on the weekend if you want.

Yea I’m not sure because everything I have to do, is fixing up textures I have already started on. Actuly I do know something you can start on for me, since I am at least 3 or 4 hours from finishing up all the textures I have going now. Look in post #174, there is a link to a genarator, If you could give that a try that would be great. I’m asuming he wants it to be the grey look, with scratches I have been doing just look at the legs 1 and the plate 1.

i like the looks of this project, i can model, texture, and i can do some python coding.

@ Thalia Brunner yes if you start on the generator that would help and yes i wont it that grey with scratches but i also wont the pipes which are out the side to be a black colour.

@kendrick1397 If you look back at some things you can see the style we are going for. Just wondering how good are you at texturing maps and stuff?
