I like your take on the character design better than the original. This one’s sarong knows it’s a sarong, whereas the original just has a weird piece of fabric awkwardly tied around the waist. The bikini top with the hanging feathers could look really cool, but I like the way this one is wrapped, and the clean lines work well with your overall aesthetic here.
The knee does look a little high in proportion to the rest of the leg. Hair looks awesome though.
