This is my take on a mimic from the game Dungeons and Dragons. Since it’s Christmas time, I set the short animation to Jingle Bells by mad/no/mad. I used @curtisjamesholt 's setup from the Modular Workspaces addon to set the evil mood for this mimic. The textures were adaptations from @anon53575970 !
Almost all the deformation for this animation was done with a lattice; the rest was done using the AnimAll for the curves, which comes with Blender by default.
