I downloaded a character from the internet, imported the pmx file into blender.
However, the model has flaws as shown in the images below.
There seems to be a multiple geometry: in editmode deselect all, select the single vertex under the eye and select more (ctrl numpad +) and more and more to see if that true. (only some geometry or all points selected afterwards?)

That’s the usually triangled quads you have everywhere (no quads supported or whatever). You can select all and do Tri to Quad (alt-J), but most of the time you have to select carfully and check… (options for respect UV, angle etc).
