I’ve messed on with the model a bit and ended up with this. But the materials just don’t feel completely right to me, and it feels like there’s a lot of room for improvement regarding them. Can anyone who’s familiar with materials using cycles help me out here! :)?

I think the anisotropic shader would give a better result than the glossy if you want to keep it simple.
Lighting needs work though. There is nothing for the gloss to reflect. It needs a world texture.
