Mimikebab — a cursed post-soviet grill mimic

This idea came to me completely by accident, back when I didn’t even know how to do 3D art.
Recently, I remembered it — and thought: why not take it as a challenge?

So I modeled and fully animated the transformation of a grill into a character.
If you’re ever walking through the woods and suddenly smell roasted meat…
then spot a cozy campfire with sizzling meat — but no one around — don’t get too close.
You’ve been warned!

The model is made in Blender and textured in Substance 3d Painter.
The concept and idea are original.

I adore the strong, clean shape language here! I know that’s harder to do in 3D software and modeling compared to 2D, but you pulled it off, and with a surprisingly-low polygon count, no less!
