Mini arcade stick

So… this isn’t a render… it’s just a viewport shading screen grab… but I like it more than what Cycles produced!

The burned wood logo effect was also much nicer in the viewport since it’s screen based, and much less effort to make than if I would have to do displacement (which is apparently still experimental even in Blender 3.2).

The model is a work in progress project I’m doing in Rhino, to CNC mill the base for an arcade stick out of wood…

All materials are from Blenderkit. UV mapping could be better… I just used proportional editing to move the island around a bit… but I’m not going to work on this any more now. It’s good enough until I can get a real prototype made! :joystick:

I was “pushed” to do an update (don’t expect it to happen again).

Also worked some more on the internals (though since this is in Rhino, I won’t post more of those here):

Nice project. Seems like you have some collision between internal components.
Love the TAC2 version.

Ok, so this is evolving a little bit…

No longer procedural wood, and a proper Cycles render (though using a built-in environment in Blender).
