So I’m having some issues with the hair system… I’m controlling the density and length with weight painted groups, and all is working great, except for one thing:
Around the forehead and sideburns, you see my problem. Short hairs. My initial solution was to apply a really high velocity, and then apply a (absolute) maximum length, and then try to randomize the length there… It works to an extent, but then the hair is REALLY straight. No clumps, nothin’, just stick-your-finger-in-a-socker hair.
Any ideas how to create a “minimum height” mask for the hair particles? (I’m still reverse engineering many of the BBB models, but they don’t reflect my character too closely, unfortunately…)
