Mirrored texture?

Hello!
Was wondering why the textured was mirrored, on the wrench.
In edit mode I also went in, selected all, recalculated & flipped direction.
Text still looks mirrored.

Can anyone suggest the solution?

Is the mirror setting on in the materials banel?

Try flipping the UV island that maps the text portion in UV/Image editor. You can do that by scaling to -1 on an axis or by using mirror (ctrl+m) and selecting the mirror axis.

XeroShadow, nope the mirror settings is not on. But it was good guess, thank you.
JA, hello. Thank you! Just learned something new. Like the Island button VERY nice!
And your suggestion was correct, it did work, but only on the front wrench. not the second back one (the first dupe). Out of curiosity I duplicated the one with the correct texture and it displayed correctly in that duplication as well.

That’s because they didn’t share the same data. You can make them do that by either making linked duplicates (alt+d) as you go, or linking them afterwards: When you made your changes to one object, you would then select all the objects that needs to be the same and lastly the one that shares its data (primary selection) and then link it by pressing ctrl+L -> object data (object menu -> make links).

If you need to break that linking at some point, you have to make objects as single users. Just like with materials. That’s done by first selecting the objects and pressing U (object menu -> make single user).

but it looks like the second duplicate, (smaller up front wrench)did share the data.
that texture came out ok.
