I have a object and instead of make one side of the object I want to mirror it so that any change I make on one side the same is changed on the other side. How do I do that?

I got another question about mirrors. I want to add the verts for for the copied area, how do I do that?

When you are happy with and want to make any modifyer ‘real’ use the apply button of the modifyer in question.
