Recently I’m going to participate in a competition called Mission To Minerva.
This is my first work done by Blender and Photoshop.
Geometry Node is used to generate terrain, and Addon “True Terrain” is used to process materials.
Although the work is not perfect, I really enjoyed the process of making it.Hope you like it.
The planet “Miliv G3”, known as the land of gold, has endless resources.
The Eternal Sun led the team here to collect resources, but unfortunately this is also their end.
In the concept design, i combined the fragmentary stories and adopted thumbnail 2 as the theme of the work.It is also the beginning of the theme of the story.
You can get more information from ArtStation or My website:
Would prefer a lot a rendering without the stretched camera distortion effect.
It is very difficult to adjust the stretched camera, not too strong because it will cause severe distortion.
I tried different angles and this should be the closest to the visual I want.
And I want to get as close to thumbnail 2 design as soon as possible.
Great concept and #breakdown!
You’re on the #featured row!
Wow that is a really detailed. It looks like a screenshot from the next AAA video game.
Personally I like the distorted camera. In the games I play, I am always turning the field of view up as high as I can because I love being able to look out and see everything at once.
I featured you on BlenderNation, have a great weekend!
Here is the “Behind the Scenes” article of this magnificent artwork!
Do check this article written by the artist themself. It describes the process of making the artwork step by step with an insight on world-building in Blender.
Hope you all have a great start to the new year!
