Mixamo and NLE editor action issue

Hello, everyone,
I recently started looking at animation in Blender and wanted to test importing and handling animations from Mixamo.
I have followed the various tutorials but in the NLE editor I am encountering problems as in the Blend file I attach: I can’t apply the actions to the armature of the character (the one with the skin).
While the other armors have no problems…how come? The bones all have the same name (assigned by mixamo).
Also scale and repeat (in NLE editor) don’t seem to work

thanks in advance

Hi, you probably will need to link the file if it is too big.

Hi
I have attached the file:

I tried again and scale and repeat of actions works, but I can’t apply them to character rigging.

Hi, i have managed to transfer the animations using this handy tutorial and and app.
Tutorial: https://youtu.be/YK7sc7tovc0?si=Sfp5-NunmK6S24SC
App: https://gitlab.com/x190/mixamo_blender4

Hi,
thanks for reply!
I followed the tutorial and used the Mixamo app (which I already had) but when I try to apply the animation to the rig nothing happens.
I am using Blender 4.3.2 and version 1.0.0 of Mixamo app

Then:

  1. I import the character with the bones without animation.
  2. with Mixamo app I create the control rigging.
  3. I import armatures with animation
4)with Mixamo app I copy the animation from the armature to the character

It actually works.

If I now import another armature with other animation, go into NLE editor and convert all animation to strips if I go to insert another strip (again in NLE) into character armature this animation does not work (extrapolation=Nothing and Blend In inserted).

What is the correct procedure for I cannot figure out.

Ok,
in the end I think I understand.

Thanks

Yes it’s not clear from the tutorial, but you need to first see the keyframes in the graph editor of the animated rig then transfer it through the up.
