Model eyelid bone not working right

I got the same mortal kombat model that I saw used in other content of the same character, sindel. However while testing the armature I noticed something wasn’t working right.

others: the eyelid closes naturally, like any normal humans eyelid should function

Mine: it just stretches and doesn’t even go down. It looks terrible.

Is there something you gotta do in blender for it to work properly or was there changes made?
