I m trying to model the cap of the bottle in the picture.
Is it better to use Boolean operation or to try and Subd the cut?

It is always better not to use boolean, unless you want a fast result and you don’t care about the topology

this is pretty much basic modeling so dont need to use booleans

@gnmeles Someone had this question a while back on a FB post and I showed them there how a boolean would be a pain in the butt for a simpler shape. This was just a cylinder with the shape needed then subdivision along with the required support loops. The top pinching of the plastic tube is just a displacement.
