Modeling a Violin Scroll

Hello.
I am modeling a violin and I am having some trouble modeling the scroll of the violin, specifically the centre spiral-like spot. I am unable to figure the edge flow.

So how do I approach this?

Thanks. I was having problems with the center shape. I was trying to avoid ngons and tris but I couldn’t do it without one tri but the model looks good so I guess that’s not an issue now.
