Modeling to Scale

I’m trying to create models to real world scale, say I want to model a table that is 6’x4’. How would I be able to accomplish this? Any tips for modeling to scale? Thanks.

In the World settings you can choose your units (None / Metric or Imperial)
In the properties panel (shortcut N) you can set the dimensions of your object. Also under ‘Mesh Display’ while in edit mode you have the option of turning on display edge lengths.

Also ensure your object scale is 1, if you scale your objet in object mode this will change, you can clear it back to 1 with Ctrl+A / Scale while in object mode. Scaling in edit mode does not affect the object scale.
