Modeling walls from shape

Hi.
I need to model many walls, I found a convenient way, but the walls terminate in 45 degrees … How can I resolve this issue. Thx.
Extrusion method is not suitable. The number of walls just stupendous (huge supermarket)

Well, if you were to explain what your method is we could help you, so far I don’t know what you are doing and therefore I am incapable of determining what you are doing wrong.

Hi, friend.

Let me see if I understand what you want. May be there is another wise solution for this but I what I’d do is to select all the verts of every end of wall with 45° and press S+X (Y or Z) +0. All the verts then wil be aligned at once. If that helps, good. Regards.

I’d advise to drop the curves and just extrude a plane. You can add Solidify modifier to it to give thickness to the walls.

you could use the skin modifier may be!

happy blendering

Thank you all for your answers, I will use the method of extrusion. That’s a long time, but the other way I do not see.

I used a rectangular shape extruded along the curve.

Long? No longer than making that curve

If you look at this screenshot, you will understand that to do 300 extra extruding take long time =) (And I still draw 5 floors with different layout.)

Ah, long in that sense. Oh wow, that is quite a job indeed. I thought you meant “long” as in “longer (more tedious)” than with curves

did you try to export as obj then import in blender ?

salutations

Good you posted image. A bit in Gimp, then in Inkscape trace bitmap and save svg.
Convert to mesh in Blender, limited dissolve and some minor touchups. Baking lightmap took most of the time.

You are on the right track, just use 2d-curves no 3d. Set curves Geometry Extrude and Solidify-modifier.
With curves its a lot easier to do circular or rounded wall shapes also.
