Modelink sink and tap

Hi, I am in process of learning blender. Did quite a few tutorials and now tackled and own model. Unfortunately it isn’t a smooth ride so far… For the sink part, I’m getting a lot of weird artefacts and the holes im trying to make aren’t very “good”. also from the exterior i cant seem to get the curved shape, its as if it doesn’t subdivide.

For the tap, there are many issues , feels like the way I separated the parts are rather primitive, as in I just separated using P in edit mode? and the part that goes from the main body (through which the water exits) I modelled using looptools and loopcut (following this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OllfGmgL5j8) but there are some major issues in the connection between the vertical and horizontal part.

Can anyone please help with solving these issues? Or maybe a tutorial showing a better method? I’d like to understand exactly what I did wrong and how to avoid it in the future.

Usually, it’s solved with auto smoots

Modification is required if modeling is not good.

It’s hard to explain in English and there are a lot of modifications.
I am attaching the blender file after modifying it.
