What hardware are you using?
I’m doing some personal test in archviz and my GTX1070 is becoming a bit obsolete.
Luckly with Cycles-X I’ve got back some performance but I’m experiencing some troubles with the materials setup.

hi Petra, I love your design, I was amazed, when you use in e-cycles examples. really good job, one advice about the quality, is switching to NLM denoiser if you use e-cycles, the detail of image, texture, bump, and even caustics, will preserve better, and y a high quality.
