So will Blender get more modern and will get sort of window panels explorers like other software ?
I mean Zbrush or 3D coat have explorers showing all available alphas for brushes;
or all available materials and previews; or textures and mask textures preview.

Why this is not by default in Blender ?
I mean any modern graphics software has panel browsers by default.
The developers have planned to add an Asset Manager:
The official Blender developer team requires that the author of an addon (if he/she wants it to be included in Blender by default) agrees to support the addon, fixing bugs and making sure the addon works well on the future versions of Blender.
The Blender core developers are too busy to support third party addons.
I certainly hope not. I personally am not a fan of that sort of UI.
This should have been priority before adding sculpting and other features.
I mean it’s how most graphics apps works since long time, even 2D painting software had such panels resource browsers.
