Nice work so far. I liked the original nostrils better, and the hair doesn’t look quite right. I have no idea how to offer any advice on the hair (sorry, I’ve yet to try hair at all). All I can say is that the hair as it is just looks too patchy.
Other than that this looks great. Looking forward to seeing the completed model.
