Since watching monsters university for the 100th time last week I thought I might just try my luck at making a monsters inc “play set”. By Play set I mean a complete scare floor with moving doors and stations as well as rigged characters to have a bit of fun with. Over the past few days I’ve been working primarily on the door mechanism (I’ll post a few close up detailed renders of the door stations later) and trying to get the lighting just right. One of the biggest problems I’ve had so far is making a realistic fur material for sully. No matter what I do it just never turns out right. If anyone has any tips I would really appreciate it

i’ve watched Monster’s Inc just about as many times! don’t Sully’s feet also have claws? yeah, they do - I just checked 
his fur is going to be hard, because he has tons of it, and it’s very fluffy. i hope someone else has some tips, cuz i’d like to know as well.
