More bone influence

Just wondered about bone limits… ie. here i want the eyelid to come further down but im already at full red and cant paint anymore. Tried messing with deform options but no good. I guess this will just need cleaning up with shape keys?

The most that a mesh can do is to move fully with the bone. It can never move more than the bone.

If the mesh is 1.0 weighted and yet it does not move fully with the bone, it is because it is weighted to other bones as well. Remove the weights to those other bones to increase the amount it moves with the fully weighted bone.

hi, can you please expand on this?

bone is rotated in X all this way but can only paint max weight to here…

this may give you an idea how i like to rig eyelids… but not working out for me

im thnking to maybe use location not rotation…
