“Save Incremental” works, but I think it’s inconvenient to have to launch the File Dialog.
What I’d prefer is a hotkey as in After Effects. The file dialog slows me down.
Research reveals that many people have tried to address this in Python*, but there seems to be issues. I don’t have any beef with how Blender’s Save Incremental works, just how it’s invoked. If there were a Python call to whatever routines B is using in its native Save Incremental that would be fine.
Ideally, the devs would add “Save Increment” to the File Menu, with a hotkey.
