I made an animation that transforms from ‘Ramen’ to ‘Ramen Pizza’ using Blender 2.83 and Animation Nodes + Extra Nodes.
Non-destructive modeling and Eevee procedural textures 100%.
In my recent style, objects are made from very simple meshes like plane or circle, then add modifiers for finishing form.

Particle Nodes is something i’m waiting for too. I think there will be starting presets for particle nodes which might make it less intimidating… although i might be wrong on that

I can’t understand too long-form English, so I’m just glancing at threads about particle nodes in developer communities, I’m looking forward to the implementation.
I think we will be happy to share useful presets with group-nodes or something.
I saw this pizza in a Pizza Hut Taiwan ad, but it’s not sold in my country.
I would love to try these once.

Noodle’s material is increased SSS when it’s in ramen-style, decreased SSS and added burned part when it’s in pizza-style.
