Hey there!
I recently did a study to create realistic moss and this is the result :
It was very inspired by a tutorial from Dan Woje you can find here . I used some megascan assets, Graswald, and a bit of The Grove 3d for the background.
Rendered with 500 samples on a gtx 850m (yeah !).
