Hi,
I’ve just started to use the explode modifier and when I’m enabling the motion blur it doesn’t seem to work, unless the object i’m exploding is moving (but when it does the particules have the motion blur of the object and not there own motion blur from there own movement)
Am I doing something wrong?

According to the wiki, motion blur in cycles only supports object transformations http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:2.6/Manual/Render/Cycles/Integrator#Motion_Blur
You could use vector blur as an alternative. In the Render passes enable the Vector pass then use the compositor to add the vector blur.
