"Motion Capture" on Blender with Accelerometer

Hi!
A small test using an accelerometer and Blender http://www.eibriel.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif
Controlling a camera and an object rotation:

Less info in my blog.

Kind of cool. I’m practicing mocap these days myself.
Are accelerometers the little sensor dealies that they put all over the spandex leotard suit the actors wear when recording MoCap sequences in the lab? The little sensors that record the joint and bone rotations of the actors, that then are recorded as moving points in a BVH file?

Hi!
Thanks!!
Apparently Accelerometers and Giroscopies are used on motion capture according to Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marker_motion_capture#Inertial_systems). But is rare.
Optical motion capture systems are more likely used.

Interesting. What is the average latency?
