Motion Capture workflow and Blender (Orbbec 3D Cameras)

I’m brand new to moCap and 3D in general and I’d greatly appreciate some direction. (Not getting answers from the Orbbec folks. Maybe I’m using the wrong terms.)

After you use a motion capture device (like the Astra series camera with Orbbec Body Tracking SDK) to capture motion, what do you do with the motion capture data? Is it usually imported into a 3D software in which you model the avatar and environment? For example, can the motion capture data from the Orbbec camera be imported into the Blender software?

How does the ‘Visual Studio’ software (mentioned at the SDK download page) fit into this workflow?

Any referral to a tutorial would be greatly appreciated. I’m a bit lost.
