Mountain Farm


This was more of a technical exercise or study than an art piece, I was testing procedural generator of hedges and shading for fields. This was the very first thing I did:

Pretty much everything else was just set dressing.

The hedges are all drawn with geometry nodes, as are the trees and the fence.

The compositing does a lot of heavy lifting in the style here:

Wow, lots of artistic progress between the WIP i saw and the final. I like where you went with that, looks great.

… Nice. I like this kind of rendering (Ghibli, obviously) (but hey, the “Laika” studio (Coralina, etc) is superb too).
I’ll try to find out a little more about it to move forward with this texturing method.
